Facundo Llompart is a Paris – based composer. (b. Argentina, october 1979). He works in the field of contemporary musical creation. His catalogue includes solo pieces, chamber music and symphony orchestra (with and without electronics). His work focuses on the manipulation of the timbre and morphology of the sound, and the creation of sound spaces.

Facundo Llompart got a Bachelor’s Degree in Musical Composition in the “Instituto Superior de Música de la Universidad Nacional del Litoral” (Argentine). Then he studied musical composition with Martin Matalon in Paris. Peviously, he got the «Cycle de Perfectionnement en Composition Musicale Mention: “Prix d’Excellence”, in the “Conservatoire a Rayonnement Départemental” (Aulnay-sous-Bois, France) with Thierry Blondeau and the “Diplôme d’Etude Musicale” in the “Conservatoire a Rayonnement Régional” (Reims, France) with Daniel Dadamo.

His pieces were performed by ensembles and soloists as “L’instant donné”, “Cairn”, “Trio KDM” , “Sillages”,  “Matka”, “New Music Ensemble of the Sverdlovsk Philharmonic”, “Taller sonoro», “Ensemble Nikel”, Saori Furukawa, Christelle Séry, among others, in auditoriums and festivals in France, Switzerland, Spain, Russia, Argentine, Chili, Mexique, Colombia, Austria and Israel.
